CIF Commemorative Logo Competition in California
Apr 24, 2026
NASEF applauds the young designers who competed in our recent logo design competition. Canva and NASEF collaborated to present this Beyond the Game student design challenge to students in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Esports Initiative.

Congratulations to Jacob R., a sophomore at Mayfair High School, for his winning design. The commemorative logo will be featured at the CIF Esports Initiative Championship Finals, with stickers of this logo distributed at the event on April 25, 2026, at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
In addition to the commemorative logo competition, NASEF-member schools in California also held their own competition to design a logo for their school’s esports team(s). The schools chose the winning logo. Here are two examples of student creations for their own schools.

Anthony Bringetto is a teacher at Clovis West High School. His student created the school logo above. Anthony said, "The design challenge provides students an opportunity to take ownership of their program and pride in their school."
NASEF has always encouraged educators and students to explore the entire ecosystem of opportunity in esports. A huge growth sector in esports is in creation. Content creators help tell the story of each team, streamer, company, or organization they represent. NASEF holds Beyond the Game Challenges like this one to engage students in exploration and understanding of the variety of career pathways in the esports ecosystem.
Congratulations to all participants in this NASEF Beyond the Game challenge!
