NASEF and GameClass Announce Strategic Partnership to Expand Global Scholastic Esports Learning

Aug 19, 2025

[Atlanta, August 19, 2025] – The Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations (NASEF) is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with GameClass, a leader in gamified education platforms. This collaboration formalizes a relationship that has already been growing as GameClass has worked successfully with NASEF partners around the world.

Through this partnership, NASEF will support the integration of GameClass into scholastic esports programs across its global network, offering educators and students a dynamic platform that combines academic learning with interactive, game-based experiences. To facilitate adoption, NASEF clubs will receive discounted access to the platform.

“GameClass has been making an impact with our international partners, and we are excited to officially bring them into the NASEF ecosystem,” said Gerald Solomon, Executive Director of NASEF. “Together, we’ll be adding new content and features that align with NASEF’s mission and vision, including esports focused curriculum, ensuring that students worldwide benefit from innovative, meaningful learning opportunities.”

Skyler Scarlett, CEO and Founder of GameClass, shared the following: "NASEF is the premier global leader of scholastic esports, with a network that encompasses more than 9,000 member clubs around the world. Those members are actively leveraging esports and video games for learning that connects to youth interests and passions. GameClass and NASEF are a perfect match, and we will support every location with our powerful learning engagement experience. The combined success of their nonprofit mission for gaming for good and their dedication to preparing the next generation for careers in games is something I’m deeply passionate about.

"I want to thank the NASEF Leadership for believing in GameClass, and NASEF’s Affiliate Leaders including Marc Joubert, who heads up NASEF’s South Africa Affiliate, and Akil O’Conner, NASEF’s Trinidad & Tobago leader, for piloting GameClass for nearly a year to help us with a design that will bring value to NASEF students, educators, and club directors. Lastly, I want to thank Kevin Brown, a pioneer at NASEF, who has been instrumental in making this come together. Working with NASEF onsite club directors has been an absolute joy, and my goal is for GameClass to become their favorite educational tool."

As part of the collaboration, NASEF will support curriculum development within the program and provide direct feedback from clubs and educators to shape the future of the GameClass platform. This joint initiative builds on both organizations’ missions to bridge play and learning, preparing students for the workforce of the future while strengthening social-emotional skills through esports and digital engagement.
