NASEF leads the next esports education revolution with exciting new esports lessons personalized for students for your classroom
(Atlanta, Georgia – October 28, 2025) – The Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations (NASEF) continues its tradition of innovation in esports for education with an exciting new offering that will leverage a brand-new AI tool to weave esports into more classes for increased student engagement. NASEF is excited to announce its partnership with Factors Education, a research-backed edtech company that leverages AI agents to support schools transitioning to competency-based education systems by helping educators implement, personalize, and measure durable skills through curriculum-aligned project-based learning.
This collaboration will transform education by leveraging a specialized generative artificial intelligence program which will take NASEF’s thousands of pages of scholastic esports content and regenerate them on-demand to meet the custom learning goals of teachers.
Esports provides real-world relevance to students, and the ecosystem includes multiple applications and career pathways for them to explore in a variety of subjects. Lesson plans can be created for an entire esports class, for example compiling a CTE/Career Technical Education course on Esports Business Management, or creating a unit in a core course, such as designing a lesson that weaves spawning of Pokemon characters into a biology class. While NASEF provides the foundational curriculum framework, Factors' AI technology then personalizes and creates materials for each individual student, adapting content to their lexile levels, native languages, socioeconomic constraints and other factors while still aligning curriculum standards and educational best practices.
Key aspects of the new NASEF Esports Factors Program include:
- Useful for educators of students from elementary school through high school.
- Ability to generate and tailor content specific to lexile levels, native languages, socioeconomic constraints, grade-level, skills, course material, and more.
- Differentiated and personalized content is exported directly to students based on their learner profiles.
- Structured prompts guide users to simplify the process of generating content.
- Assignments can be aligned to a variety of standards, including common core, NGSS and your local state standards.
- Professional development will be offered to guide educators in use of this innovation.
- Extremely affordable, at $13-$15 per teacher per month with bulk purchases.
“We founded NASEF to enable teachers to connect play and learning, drawing students into immersive, experiential learning that is superior to antiquated approaches like scripted narratives and workbook sheets that fail to engage students,” said Gerald Solomon, NASEF executive director. “The NASEF Esports Factors Program takes the next bold step, enabling teachers to quickly generate custom lesson plans for each class – or even each student – to leverage esports and video games to increase engagement. With their interest secured, educators can foster understanding and skills across a variety of disciplines and ages.”
“Esports provides the perfect bridge for schools transitioning to competency-based systems. Through our partnership with NASEF, we're empowering educators to leverage students' natural interest in gaming to develop and measure essential durable skills in an authentic, engaging way. This is personalized learning at its best—driven by student interest and backed by data” said Aman Sahota, co-founder of Factors. “With the help of the powerful Factors engine, teachers will now have a way to quickly make classes lively and engaging by integrating gameplay examples, esports careers, and STEAM principles into standards-aligned lessons.”
