Welcome to the Mexico Minecraft COVID-19 Challenges

NASEF is excited to announce the Mexico Minecraft COVID-19 Challenges in partnership with the US Embassy in Mexico, the Benjamin Franklin Library and its American Spaces across the country.

All entry forms must be submitted by 11:59 pm PT on Friday, June 19, 2020.

There will be three challenges for students to compete in that will challenge their creativity, their imagination, their planning skills, and more.

Challenge #1: The House of My Dreams

  • Innovation: our design changes the existing notion of what "the house of your dreams" should be by introducing new ideas, concepts, layouts, and visitor experiences.

  • Design: Your design shows that your build was well thought out and preplanned. There is an attention to detail and the build appears finished and complete.
  • Aesthetics: Your build is thoughtful and visually pleasing and uses a variety of in-game tools and materials to create a polished look.

Challenge #2: What is COVID-19?
