 Georgia Tech’s Institute of People and Technology’s (IPaT) supports the applications of games as tools for education, empowerment, rehabilitation, community engagement, health interventions, and entertainment. Their research on esports includes the development of novel tools to support a variety of esports stakeholders, creation of esports STEAM curriculum for schools, and technologies to support esports player health and safety. IPaT is excited to be a  part of the Esports Summit with long-time collaborators, including Skillshot and NASEF, in advocating for scholastic esports.

 The Esports Summit will be held in conjunction with DreamHack Atlanta, a popular international gaming event, to give attendees the opportunity to be immersed in the esports world and observe the application of a myriad of career pathways.
