Cafe Game License Resources - For Clubs playing at their Club Site

To access the licenses, all you have to do is:

  1. Log into your NASEF Club Dashboard and Opt-in for one of our main season Overwatch Tournaments
  2. Complete all steps in the Tournament Management page
  3. Under Step 3, click "Request Blizzard Cafe Licenses" and read the instructions

After submitting your request, you'll receive an email upon approval, letting you know your licenses are ready to use at your Club site.

Have your students follow the directions below to make sure their accounts can access the free licenses on your Club site computers:

  1. Create Battletag accounts (most probably have one already)
  2. Attach an authenticator to those accounts, which is needed for accessing the free game licenses (we created guides for this linked below!)
  3. Make sure the computers you submitted IP Addresses for have the Blizzard App downloaded (covered in our How to Install Overwatch guide below)
  4. Log on to play Overwatch on one of the computers you submitted IP Addresses for

Need help with access our free Overwatch Game Licenses? Make sure you've read the resources below to make sure your Club is able to access them!

Licenses Still Not Working?

If the licenses are still not working, we recommend this solution, which typically resolves the issue:

  • Step 1: Have someone who already owns Overwatch on their account log into the Blizzard App on one of your computers
  • Step 2: Have them download Overwatch on that computer. Wait for the download to completely finish
  • Step 3: Have them log out of the Blizzard App
  • Step 4: Have someone who does NOT own Overwatch on their account (AND has an authenticator attached to their Blizzard account) log in and try to play the game
