California High School Beyond the Game™ Logo Challenge
Canva and NASEF are collaborating in a Beyond the Game™ Challenge student design challenge offered to students in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Esports Initiative. Beyond the Game Challenges engage students in exploration and understanding of the variety of career pathways in the esports ecosystem. This challenge is offered free, plus students and educators will receive free access and training on graphic design using Canva’s tools. Winning logos will be printed on stickers for the school and Championship event.
Team Guide
Two ways to participate

School Designs
- Each school can run its own competition to design a “CIF Esports Spring 2026” logo for their school’s esports team(s) using Canva. The school will determine the winning logo. NASEF will highlight student work on its website and social media channels.
- Canva will provide a printing voucher valued at $25 to each school to enable them to print 24 2-inch round stickers of the selected logo. (Schools may purchase additional stickers if desired.) This free printing offer is limited to the first 200 schools that register.
- Designs must be submitted to NASEF by March 16, 2026. All student designs can be submitted to NASEF for possible showcase; the winning logo MUST be submitted for prizing.

Commemorative Sticker for Championship Event
- All students are invited to design a commemorative logo or graphic for the Spring 2026 CIF Esports Championship. This will be a separate competition.
- All designs must include the word NASEF or its trophy logo, along with the word CIF and the year 2026. Find official logos here.
- NASEF will highlight student work on its website and social media channels.
- Canva will print stickers with the design to be distributed at the live Finals event.
- Designs must be submitted to NASEF by March 16, 2026 for consideration.
