Play and Learning Through Esports: Esports Heroes Inc to Implement Scholastic Esports Programs as it Creates a NASEF Affiliate in Vietnam

Strong international network enables Esports Heroes Inc to offer significant learning opportunities related to esports by tapping the experience and global reach of the North America Scholastic Esports Federation

(Atlanta, GA – January 14, 2022)—Esports are booming, and students in Vietnam are excited to not just play the games, but to pursue related careers. To support this thirst for competition and education, Esports Heroes Inc LLC has just become an affiliate of the North America Scholastic Esports Federation. NASEF will provide free tournaments, programs, curriculum, and expertise to help scholastic esports grow and thrive in Vietnam.

NASEF leverages massive student interest in team-based competitive video gaming, offering meaningful career and STEM education alongside tournaments. Students learn about possible career pathways, enter Beyond the Game creative and analytic challenges, manage clubs and events and fundraising, and compete in tournaments in popular titles including but not limited to: Rocket League, Chess, League of Legends and Minecraft, to name a few.

“Our aim is to improve student engagement and attendance by through innovative nontraditional curriculum such as esports for middle and high schools in Vietnam,” said Hiro Watanabe, Director of Esports Heroes Inc.

Esports Heroes Inc’s vision is to create and foster competitive esports programs through the lens of academics and learning in Vietnamese middle schools and high schools by providing assistance, organizing tournaments, and presenting information to schools and advisers. NASEF offers a unique focus on diversity with an emphasis on cultivating talents in potentially underserved populations and provide a pathway to college scholarships and careers in the gaming industry.

Esports Heroes Inc là đơn vị chính thức cung cấp các giáo trình, nền tảng công nghệ và cơ hội học tập , nghề nghiệp liên quan đến Esports; thuộc bản quyền của Liên đoàn giáo dục thể thao điện tử Bắc Mỹ ( NASEF - the North America Scholastic Esports Federation), cho học sinh, sinh viên Việt Nam.

(Atlanta, GA - 14/01/2022) - Esports đang bùng nổ tại Việt Nam. Và Học sinh không chỉ đam mê chơi các trò chơi, mà còn theo đuổi các nghề nghiệp liên quan. Để hỗ trợ khát khao cạnh tranh và giáo dục trong ngành công nghiệp này, Esports Heroes Inc vừa trở thành một chi nhánh của Liên đoàn Thể thao điện tử học đường Bắc Mỹ (NASEF). NASEF sẽ cung cấp miễn phí chương trình, giáo trình và các cố vấn có chuyên môn triển khai esports tại nhà trường, cũng như tổ chức giải đấu thường niên để giúp thể thao điện tử tại Việt Nam phát triển mạnh mẽ hơn một cách bài bản.

NASEF thúc đẩy sự quan tâm của phần lớn học sinh thông qua các trò chơi điện tử đội nhóm; cung cấp các giáo trình ý nghĩa dựa trên mô hình STEM và các cơ hội nghề nghiệp hấp dẫn liên quan; đi kèm là các giải đấu để cọ xát và giao lưu. Học sinh được tìm hiểu về các cơ hội nghề nghiệp trong ngành công nghiệp Game; tham gia vào những thử thách phân tích , sáng tạo quốc tế : Beyond the Game Challenges ; học cách quản lý các câu lạc bộ, tổ chức sự kiện hoặc gây quỹ; song song là các giải đấu cạnh tranh cùng các học sinh trong và ngoài nước với những tựa game phổ biến như: League of Legends, Rocket League, Chess, Minecraft, v.v.

Ông Hiroaki Watanabe, Giám đốc Esports Heroes Inc., cho biết: “Mong muốn của chúng tôi là thúc đẩy sự tiếp cận và tham gia của học sinh với thể thao điện tử, thông qua chương trình giảng dạy sáng tạo phi truyền thống bằng giáo trình esports cho các trường trung học cơ sở, trung học phổ thông tại Việt Nam.”.

Tầm nhìn của Esports Heroes Inc là kiến tạo và phát triển các chương trình thể thao điện tử cạnh tranh bài bản; thông qua lăng kính học thuật tại các trường trung học cơ sở và trung học phổ thông của Việt Nam; bằng cách hỗ trợ, cố vấn thông tin và cung cấp giải pháp, tổ chức giải đấu trong học đường. Bên cạnh đó, mục tiêu của NASEF cũng là tập trung phát triển đa dạng các cộng đồng game, tìm kiếm và nuôi dưỡng những ứng viên tài năng, trao học bổng đại học và cơ hội nghề nghiệp trong ngành công nghiệp Game.

Gerald Solomon, người sáng lập - giám đốc điều hành của NASEF, cho biết: “Nghiên cứu chứng minh tính hiệu quả của thể thao điện tử như một công cụ cho các giáo trình STEM và các kỹ năng xã hội. “Chúng tôi rất vui mừng khi có Esports Heroes Inc trong gia đình NASEF, nơi những nhà giáo dục sẽ có thể tiếp cận phương pháp giáo dục hay nhất từ các chuyên gia quốc tế với bề dày kinh nghiệm triển khai nhiều chương trình học thuật về thể thao điện tử.
