Rubi Adams is a UX designer based in Mexico and San Francisco, with a degree as an Integral Designer from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico City. She has a passion for developing software and hardware applications using Open Hardware Platforms, and Unity. Notable achievements include 1st place at the 2015 Wearable Competition Challenge at the Center of Digital Culture in Mexico City, 2nd place at the 1997 Coding Challenge, and an Honorable Mention in the 2019 Technovation competition. In addition, she recently has been accepted into the 2020 NASEF Scholastic Fellow program.
Why did you become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow?
I want to collaborate in this initiative. I have always had a passion for working with children and teenagers, and I feel that the NASEF program is a fantastic opportunity for them to develop skills, self expression, and community on an international stage.
