I am licensed to teach middle school, english language arts, social studies and technology, and I am currently teaching a middle school STEM class to students in grades 6-8. After school, I am the head coach for our high school's new eSports team, and I also run the high school drama club. In my free time, I am an avid gamer, not only playing video games, but board and tabletop games as well. I also love to travel, and I try to go and explore at least one new place I've never been to each year, as well and returning to old favorites such as Walt Disney World as often as I can. Finally, I love to both paint and write as well, and I am actually a published playwright.

Why did you become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow?

I chose to become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow because I believe that as educators we need to continuously find new ways of connecting to our students, and eSports is definitely one of the things our students are most interested in today.
