Laura Rubi Meneses Adams
NASEF Scholastic Mentor
Rubi Adams is a UX designer based in Mexico and San Francisco, with a degree as an Integral Designer from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico City. She has a passion for developing software and hardware applications using Open Hardware Platforms, and Unity. Notable achievements include 1st place at the 2015 Wearable Competition Challenge at the Center of Digital Culture in Mexico City, 2nd place at the 1997 Coding Challenge, and an Honorable Mention in the 2019 Technovation competition. In addition, she recently has been accepted into the 2020 NASEF Scholastic Fellow program.
What are your strengths and unique aspirations as a NASEF Scholastic Mentor?
I can be a creative person within a strategic plan; I'm a constant learner that apply very soon what I learned. I'm persistence to reach objectives. And social intelligence to understand club members and facilitators environment.
What do you hope to accomplish for your professional development by becoming a Scholastic Mentor?
I am interested in improving and understanding the video game community in Mexico more. And improve my english
