Hi! My name is Giselle Jaimes, I’m a 29 years old architect feeling lucky and passionate to be working in esports. Started my esports career as a caster and a strategic analyst of semi-professional League of Legends teams, so I had the opportunity to teach players and work with them in different aspects of their development, from the technical knowledge of the game to sports psychology. Recently with my one-year-old experience as an Operations Director in Prepa League, I have had the chance to be part of this huge community of teachers, students, and gamers who are so involved in creating new opportunities in schools for many talented youths. I'm proud and happy to be part of the NASEF Fellow program, so we can be able to give our community more opportunities and grow even more in México and LATAM.
Why did you become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow?
Breaking barriers is an important goal in México and LATAM for esports communities, with NASEF I aspire to learn from the experiences of others to get close to teachers and parents, give them the tools to provide a correct perspective of what esports means to the students, and help them to develop for the future through them.
What is your favorite game?
Monkey Island and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
