Bradford Harris serves as the public sector Educator Strategist for the SHI Company. His role empowers him to design STEM, digital learning spaces, and academic/scholastic esports for grades K12 and higher education. He also provides professional development, curriculum design, and training for successful implementation for all three categories as well. He is very passionate about education and learning on a consistent basis. His passion for game based learning and gamification for students, teachers, and administrators has developed into esports in schools. Bradford’s primary focus in scholastic/academic esports is aligning curriculum or learning strategies from the esports industry to educational or academic state/national. He also wants to promote diversity, equity and inclusion to all students especially students of color to the esports ecosystem. Why did you become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow?
I chose to become a NASEF Scholoastif Fellow because not only am I passionate about games but I am passionate about the learning, pedagogy, and strategy behind gaming as well. I also love learning and collaborating with other educators from around the world.
