Adrieanne Moliere

My name is Adrieanne Moliere and I am in my 5th year of teaching at the high school level. Currently I teach in the virtual environment which has been incredibly advantageous in allowing me to reach my students during the pandemic. In becoming a NASEF Scholastic Fellow my goal is to provide my students with a higher level of workplace readiness skills, as well as a better understanding of how the soft skills they will attain will benefit them in their future endeavors. Working as a special education teacher allowed me to cultivate information and teaching styles across all four content areas. I have received guidance, and advice from teachers with decades of experience which has been imperative to my student’s success. I'm so excited to merge this experience with esports to provide my student with further opportunities inside and outside of the classroom.

Why did you become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow?

I chose to become a NASEF Scholastic Fellow because I saw the disparity in opportunities available to the students I taught. I wanted them to have more opportunities upon graduating from high school as well as the ability to explore their interest using a medium that many of them already use.

What is your favorite game?

Halo 4. Back when I completed the story mode I felt it had the most amazing mix of gameplay, game design, and story telling.
