GM Network: After Hours

Do you want to compete against other GMs and educators? Do you want to network with other GMs with esports clubs? Join your fellow General Managers in a weekly game night. Think Happy Hour meets Game Nights for GMs!

We will explore multi-platform, popular, low-cost and teachable (for your students) games each week. This is a great opportunity to learn a new game or compete against others in a variety of games. Most of the game nights will not be streamed, but we will accommodate your requests! We want this to be driven by our GMs, so make sure you join in and share your thoughts about the format, schedule and game. We want to hear from you!

Schedule & Format

Saturdays @ 3:00pm PDT | 4:00pm MDT | 5:00pm CDT | 6:00pm EDT beginning Saturday, July 11, 2020. We will plan on hosting the games for 2 hours.

Game Title: Spyfall

About the Game: Spyfall is a free to play team game, of lies and deception! Each player is given the same location from a list, and their job at said location. All except one, The Spy. It is the Spy’s job to figure out which location the others are at. Everyone else must try to figure out who the spy is and vote on who they think it is.

How to Play: Players take turns asking another player of their choice a question to figure out if that person knows where they are, (ex. Good - What do you wear when you come here? Bad - Where are we?). When someone suspects another player of being the spy, instead of asking a question, they may nominate who they think the spy is. If there is a unanimous vote against the spy, the game ends and the player voted against must reveal if they were or were not the spy. If it was not the spy, the spy may now reveal themselves, as they have won the game. If it was the spy, they have one final chance to guess the location. If they get it right, they win. But if not, the Spy loses and all other players have won.
